David Silverman writes a blog called The Start-Up Diaries in Harvard Business blogs.
On his June 15 post he uses an interesting comparison between Bagged Lettuce and his start-up company, Jamseed.
His idea brings fans closer to the music they like as bagged lettuce brings the customer closer to a salad.
I like it and opened a user. As consumer of almost all type of music (from Classic and Jazz to Trance) and a business student who constantly follow the business challenges the music industry is facing I find it to be an interesting blog to follow.
Good luck David.

Hi there,
I just looked at the website JamSeed that you posted and blogged about. It looks fascinating.
I wanted to share another interesting website with you called MyBandStock.com. It serves a similar purpose to JamSeed, in that it wants to harbor closer relationships with musicians and their fans, but as the title of the website suggests it is only for musicians.
It is a newly formed company in Ann Arbor, Michigan that was launched in January, 2009.
I’d definitely recommend you check it out.
Cheers.
