Baruch atah Adonai…sheh’heh’cheh’ya’nu veh’ki’yeh’ma’nu veh’he’g'a’nu laz’man ha’zeh – Blessed are You, Lord…Who has kept us in life, sustained us,and brought us to this moment.
There was something magical when the sheh’heh’cheh’ya’nu (שהחיינו) blessing echoed through the speakers on our commencement ceremony. Two years of an amazing experience came to an end in a very exciting weekend. It was a fun mix of families (including my mother in a surprise visit) and friends in school and outside by the pool.
It started on Saturday with awards ceremony and the Last Lecture by Professor Ray Hill

On Sunday, after a nice picnic in school we went to a roots trip in Avondale Estates, GA where my uncle visited the house he had lived in 61 years ago.

With the great help of the current owner of the house we traveled back in time and heard interesting stories. The funniest one was about my uncle going to a Tarzan movie with his sister and leaving in the middle only to complete watching it many years after that.

The graduation ceremony (link, RealMedia) took place on Monday in the Emory’s Quadrangle.

I am so glad I took the decision to study for my MBA abroad and that I did it in Goizueta. It was great. Now for the next steps.
